EXIT STRATEGY

Exit Strategy is a series of 27 paintings exploring love, loss, memory, and the process of letting go. The series grew from a period of personal transition, using painting as a way to revisit relationships, memories, and emotional attachments while confronting the need to move forward.

Through layered color, gestural brushwork, and abstracted figures, the paintings exist between memory and imagination. Each work becomes a fragment of a relationship or moment that continues to linger, transforming personal experience into something more ambiguous and open to interpretation.

The series reflects on the tension between holding on and moving forward—between the familiarity of what has been and the uncertainty of what comes next. Exit Strategy ultimately becomes an exploration of departure, self-reclamation, and the possibility of beginning again.
